贰Stay居所
Eleven rooms, each facing the mountains
Tents and timber rooms are scattered over the slope of the valley, meadow between them. Outside is the wild; inside is home: underfloor heating, a private bathroom, hot water all night, oxygen and a humidifier.

Things in the rooms
Each came from a Tibetan home, a painter or a craftsman, and found its place in a room of today.

Hand-painted thangka
Every room has a thangka, painted stroke by stroke. A few can go home with you.

Old pieces
Carved shrines, leather chests and low tables gathered from Tibetan homes, each with its own years.

Carved Tibetan bed
An old carved-wood bed, with heavy quilts and an electric blanket.
The modern core
Wild outside; inside, nothing is makeshift.

Smart toilet
A warm seat, with washing and drying.

Hairdryer
The air is dry up here; your hair dries in no time.

Speaker
Connect by Bluetooth and play your own music.

Shower
A wide rain shower, with hot water all night.

Medical-grade oxygen
At over three thousand metres, a few minutes before bed helps you sleep.

Bath products
Natural Australian shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Water-warmed mattress
Warm water flows through the mattress: gentler than an electric blanket, warm all night.

Bathtub
Some rooms have a bathtub; lie back and see the sky.
Small kindnesses
Little things you only notice once you have stayed.

Flowers every day
Every morning our Tibetan housekeeper picks wildflowers in the valley for your room.

Breakfast when you like
No rushing down for breakfast: wake when you wake, and eat any time between eight and noon.

Pets welcome
Pets can stay. There is a place to bathe them and a blood-oxygen monitor: at altitude, they need looking after too.

Herbal footbath
A copper basin of warm water steeped with Chinese herbs. Warm feet, better sleep.

Hydrating masks
The air is dry and the sun strong up here, so each room has hydrating face masks.
